Lessee How This Works...

Sun Feb 22, 2004, 7:33 AM
G'Day & Greetings!

Time to make use of this DevArt thing and POST STUFF! But, what shall I post? I hardly ever seem to do anything creative these days, and that's the real shame. However, the main thing I guess, is to not worry about what you produce-- so long as you continually, consistently, and constructively create things.

So, whether it's a doodle in the margins of some lecture notes, an actual 'proper' sketch or pixel-painting, or a literary/poetic 'flash-from-the-past' of some of the better (or more genuinely, or even cynically amusing) pieces of stuff I'd write/compose from ten years ago, and so on and so forth, it'll be posted in here!

This includes fridge poetry... because I am hooked on it, and have a dirty mind (truly, it's the words I've been supplied with! Honestly! I mean, when you've given terms such as 'heave', 'breast', 'tickle', 'grind', etc. one's mind can't help but giggle...) and when friends are over, things can become very amusing indeed!

My only sadness is that I currently lack a digital camera and cannot portray them *properly*. Shall beg/borrow/steal the use of one at some future date and recreate what I've transcribed.

So! Here's to hoping this'll become a small, but interesting place!

A sincere "Thankyou" to YOU, dear Reader. Have a nice day!

Yoyo!!

*is first non-you to post comment!*

Woo!! ^_^ DA is fun. And yes, you really should get a digicam for your fridge poetry, but you knew this. ^_^ Z.
:iconsiliconlegacy:
Yes, all you say be true! I was also a bit of an idiot when messing around with my DA acc. last night -- posted in the Comments before seeing the Journal thing, *doh!* >_<

Was obviously falling asleep at the computer... ^_^;

On the upside -- while my parents are here I'll have the use of their digicam; and until I can get my own I guess I can steal my brother's every now and then to use. But yes! So many things I'd like to get when I have my first paycheck... must get something worthwhile though. Yes. Indeedily so...

I doubt I'll get much traffic in here anyway, even when I start putting things up.

Have checked out aiwa and maui. GREAT STUFF.
:iconzedstar:
Aiwa is the sister of vert (who you love anyway) they did Nova Next Exit... ^_^ which you love (even if you haven't seen, trust me) but yes.. there are too many people who are too good on this thing. Makes me feel untalented, but also helps.
